She Came From a Stage with No Exit
Before NCIS, before Shameless, before Malibu Country, Juliette Angelo was a child at a dance studio in New Jersey. She has been trying to tell the world what happened there since 2022.

OFF THE RECORD
Before she was Emily Fornell on NCIS — before Shameless, before the ABC sitcom where she played Reba McEntire’s daughter on Friday nights — Juliette Angelo was 8 years old standing in the wings of a Broadway theater in Manhattan, NY. How the Grinch Stole Christmas — then, Billy Elliot, original cast, the production that won the Tony. She starred in Mary Poppins where she played Jane Banks — an innocent little girl who just needed someone to stay.
Juliette was good at acting — very good at it. The camera loved her the way cameras always love innocent children who have learned too early on in life how to hold something back.
On paper, it was a childhood you could frame and hang on a wall, although it might sit a tad crooked.
What was happening beneath the surface is something Juliette Angelo has been trying to say out loud to anyone and everyone who will listen since January 2022. She launched a podcast called Hope is the Bird — where she shared her deeply personal and traumatic story on what she says her parents did to her. What they did to her from the beginning, before she could speak. Sexual abuse, trafficking, a forced miscarriage at just 11 years old. There is a dance studio — the one with her face on its alumni page, the one that called her beautiful and talented on Facebook when she was 13 — used as a place where children were harmed.
Juliette was silenced and the legal threats arrived. Cease and desist letters. She took the testimony down and went quiet, for a while, the story went with her.
In December 2024, Juliette came back. This time for six and a half hours on a podcast called Warrior of Truth, hosted by Kelly Dillon. This time, she had also reported to federal authorities. And this time, something else came with her too — a paper trail that runs in both directions now.
She did not disappear. She went quiet. There is a difference, and it is the whole story.
What follows in this article is what can be found on public record. Every claim in this piece is labeled. Where something is documented- it is documented. Where it remains an allegation, it is called that. This publication does not decide guilt. But when a Montana court issues a 40 year order of protection and a New Jersey courthouse holds a filing where the studio at the center of her testimony is listed as a plaintiff in a lawsuit against her — and that studio is still open, still enrolling children as young as two — the public has a right to know what the record says.
In February 2026, Juliette Angelo posted publicly on Facebook about the story spreading. She wrote: “I did my due diligence legally with this situation and was written off completely. I realized very quickly how corrupt our justice system is. I have been defamed, slandered, threatened, stalked, harassed.... All for telling the truth.”
In the comments, when a user mentioned that a family member had contacted them years ago trying to find out where Juliette was living, Juliette replied: “I wouldn’t be surprised I have a restraining order against her now.”
She does indeed, and the Montana Supreme Court has the filing to prove it.
FOLLOWING THE TRAIL
Juliette Allen-Angelo was born March 3, 1999 in Little Falls New Jersey. Her legal name, as listed across IMDB, IBDB, and Playbill — is Juliette Allen-Angelo. Two surnames. Allen & Angelo.
For Dancers Only is a competitive dance studio that opened in Little Falls, NJ in 1988. Its founder and director is Kelly Allen. The studio’s own website says so. A third-party dance academy bio independently names Kelly Allen and Ed Phelan as studio leadership. The studio relocated to Totowa in 2020 and opened a new facility at 353 US-46 West, Fairfield, NJ 07004 for the 2025-2026 season. Contact email: fdomisskelly@aol.com. A student identified the operator in a public comment as ‘ms kelly.’
The studio’s alumni page lists Broadway productions including How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Billy Elliot, and Mary Poppins. Those are the same three productions in which Juliette Allen-Angelo performed as a child.
Public records connect Kelly Allen directly to Juliette by name. A Whitepages search for Kelly A Allen in Little Falls NJ surfaces a result listing the alias Kelly A Angelo and naming Juliette Rose Angelo as a relative. Her address history matches FDO’s locations across three decades. A separate ClustrMaps record lists Kelly Allen and James Angelo as co-residents in Little Falls.

ON THE RECORD
In December 2024, Kelly Allen, William Angelo, and For Dancers Only LLC filed a complaint with jury demand against Juliette Angelo and podcast host Kelly Dillon in Passaic County Superior Court, New Jersey. Case number: PAS-L-003817-24. Attorney for plaintiffs: Corinne M. Mullen of the Mullen Law Firm. Defamation action.
The studio that is the subject of Juliette Angelo’s public testimony about childhood sexual abuse filed a lawsuit against her. That is a documented fact. The case is active.
NJ defamation lawsuit — PAS-L-003817-24
In Montana, a district court issued a 40 year order of protection against Kelly Allen. The Montana Supreme Court upheld it. Kelly Allen filed a petition for rehearing on May 28, 2025 — arguing the duration was excessive, representing herself, pro se.
She signed the filing with two email addresses. Ra4766@aol.com. And fdomisskelly@aol.com — the studio email. Her address on the Montana Supreme Court document is 248 Union Blvd, Totowa NJ 07512. That is the For Dancers Only studio address. She ran a competitive dance studio for children and filed a Montana Supreme Court brief using the same email she uses to register students.
A court gave a survivor forty years of protection. Then the person she needed protection from sued her.
In February 2026, Juliette publicly acknowledged the restraining order exists. In a Facebook comment reply to a person who said a family member had tried to contact them years earlier asking where Juliette was, she wrote: “I wouldn’t be surprised I have a restraining order against her now.”
Comments on the For Dancers Only Instagram account, @fordancersonlynj, were open through 2019 and 2020. From 2022 onward — the year Juliette first testified publicly — every post has comments restricted. They remain restricted today. The Montana order included a court-imposed prohibition on social media posts about Juliette.
A Facebook post from the For Dancers Only page, dated approximately November 2012, shows the studio publicly celebrating Juliette Angelo by name. The text reads: “The beautiful and extremely talented, Juliette Angelo, is starring in ABC’s new TV show ‘Malibu Country’... We are so proud of you Juliette!!!!!!” The post was made from the official For Dancers Only Facebook account. Juliette Angelo was thirteen years old. The same studio filed a defamation lawsuit against her twelve years later.

JULIETTE’S STORY
The following section documents allegations made by Juliette Angelo in her own public testimony — first on Hope is the Bird in January 2022, and expanded across three Warrior of Truth episodes beginning December 2024. These are her personal accounts. They have not been independently corroborated by law enforcement records available publicly at time of publication. No criminal charges have been publicly filed. Juliette has stated she reported to federal authorities and was, in her own words, ‘written off completely.’ No public federal case has been announced.
Childhood sexual abuse — Juliette’s testimony
Juliette alleges sexual abuse by both parents beginning in infancy, escalating to rape by her father at age 8. She alleges a forced miscarriage at age 11. She describes using dissociation as a survival mechanism. Not independently corroborated by publicly available law enforcement records.
Dance studio abuse — Juliette’s testimony
Juliette alleges her mother’s NJ dance studio was a site of systematic child sexual abuse during costume fittings, with victimized students rewarded competitively. Addressed specifically in the January 9 2025 Warrior of Truth episode. Not confirmed by law enforcement records or named witnesses in public records at time of publication.
Trafficking and reporting — Juliette’s testimony
Juliette alleges her father, who held an expired NJ Bar license (ID 004601974, admitted 1974, expired), trafficked her to lawyers and doctors in Little Falls and NJ generally. She states she reported to federal authorities and was written off. In her own words on Facebook, February 2026: ‘I did my due diligence legally with this situation and was written off completely. I realized very quickly how corrupt our justice system is.’ No public federal case found.
“I am just one story of so many. It is a blessing and a miracle to be sober (almost 5 years!) present and capable of even talking about this stuff when so many other’s experiences will never see the light of day.”
— Juliette Angelo, Facebook, February 2026
FDO STUDIO
For Dancers Only is currently actively operating in Fairfield, NJ. The studio enrolls students from as young as age two with classes running now. Their website describes 37 years of operation and promotes a new, five studio facility.
Kelly Allen runs the business. In a public comment on the studio’s Instagram page, a student calls her ‘Miss Kelly’. She signed a Montana Supreme Court brief with the studio email in May 2025 in which the filing lists the studio address as her own.
In the comments of Juliette’s February 2026 Facebook post, a commenter asked whether her abusers were affiliated with Break The Floor, a traveling competitive dance company. Juliette replied publicly: “Whole competitive dance world is disgusting.” She directed people to contact her privately.
The studio that is the subject of a trafficking survivor’s public testimony is a named plaintiff in a lawsuit against her and is still open. There are many innocent children enrolled there today.
The studio her mother runs, used her face to promote itself when she was just thirteen, at the peak of her abuse, and twelve years later, it sued her for talking about what she endured there.
Nobody shut it down. Nobody had to. Juliette Angelo did her due diligence legally and was written off completely.
And the classes start Monday.

Shut it down!!!!!
And someone once said "it's harder to qualify for a driver's license than to become a parent." Why have children at all just to abuse them? Is there so much money to be made that bringing a living commodity into the world is somehow justified?
